How to join

If you wish to become an Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer, please ensure that you have first contacted a member of the CPD Team.

A member of the team will guide you through what steps need to be taken by your organisation.

If you are happy that you fully understand the submission, application and audit process,  complete the Checklist for Employer CPD Accreditation (doc, 1.78MB) and return it to Engineers Ireland marked for the attention of CPD Accredited Employer Scheme Manager, Aidan Harney.

The FÁS Excellence Through People Standard

An employer that holds a current FÁS Excellence Through People Standard  certification, can apply for the Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer standard, and together with written confirmation, can be exempt from Criteria 2, 3 & 4 – namely 2) CPD Policy; 3) Performance Management & Development System & 4) Formal CPD – minimum 5 days average per annum recorded.
