About the programme
Engineers Ireland created STEPS to engineering in 2000, and by engaging with children’s natural curiosity for science and technology, we have grown it into a nationwide progamme reaching approximately 65-75,000 children per year.
It is our flagship engineering outreach programme and aims to inspire primary and post-primary students with an interest in the world of engineering.
Our broad range of activities draws a wide and varied audience, including:
- Primary/Post-primary students
- Parents and families
- Teachers and related educational organisations
- 3rd level students
- Media
