About this network
The Middle East region of Engineers Ireland plans to organise a programme of lectures, discussions, training courses, site visits and social activities to keep members up to date with all aspects of their profession in the Middle East and in Ireland.
The social aspect to many of these events ensures that there is always an opportunity to network with other members and engineering professionals.
Who can join?
Membership is open to members from all grades of Engineers Ireland and from all engineering disciplines, including:
- Engineers and engineering technicians working in the region
- Engineering consultancies and support servicing companies
- Local government and semi-state organisation workers involved in engineering
- Academic researchers, lecturers and students
Non members working in engineering or the cognate professions are welcome to join any of our events as guests, where they can also find out more about membership of Engineers Ireland, should they wish to join.
How to join
If you are already a member of Engineers Ireland, and gave a correspondence address in the Middle East when you joined, you have automatically been affiliated with this network.
If your correspondence address is outside the Middle East, you can still join our network through the Members Area.
Events
Members of the Middle East region network receive invitations to a wide variety of educational and social events throughout the year, including:
- Evening meetings and lectures
- Site visits to regional projects of interest
- Golf outings held in clubs throughout the region
Our events are open to the public as well as to members of Engineers Ireland.
