Our network aims to enhance the lifelong career development and financial security of members working at all levels within the chemical, biochemical and process engineering profession.
As a member of our network, you can access information on recognized and promising chemical engineering processes and methods. You can connect with a global network of intelligent, resourceful colleagues and find learning opportunities from recognized authorities. We aim to help you move forward professionally and enrich the world we live in.
Who can join?
Membership is open to people who have an interest in and relevant experience in chemical engineering.
How to join
If you are already a member of Engineers Ireland, you canjoin any number of Regions, Divisions and Societies in our Members Area
It is free to join our network, and once you join, you can:

- Post comments on articles and blogs
- Join the Contacts Network to locate and send messages to other professionals
Events
We run a series of evening lectures each year to promote the latest thinking in chemical and process engineering.
All our events allow members to make contacts and network with their peers and industry representatives, and contribute to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Get Involved.
Opportunities for involvement in the network are varied and include:
- Becoming a committee member
- Joining task groups looking at strategic issues
- Attending evening lectures or, indeed, delivering a presentation Volunteering to work with schools
All these activities offer you the chance to develop your personal skills, exposure to and communication with fellow professionals within industry and academia, many of whom are in senior positions.
